If you’re not sure how to do this, simply watch the video below which shows all the steps in detail:

How to Take-Over Chats

In some cases you may want to ‘take-over’ a chat from Chatzio and talk with the user yourself instead. To do this, click on the ‘Take Over’ button on any chat. You can now chat with the user instead of Chatzio. If you want Chatzio to take over, just click on the ‘Hand over to Chatzio’ button and Chatzio will continue the conversation.

How to monitor and take over your customer chats

Now that Chatzio is live on your website, you may want to monitor your chats to see the conversations that your customers are having with Chatzio.

You can also ‘take over’ any chats if you’d like to speak with a customer instead of Chatzio.

First, you’ll need to log into your Chatzio Chat dashboard, simply click on the orange button on the top right of this website, or navigate to this URL: https://chat.chatzio.com/

You can log in with the same email and password that you used to sign up.

How to Monitor Chats

After you’ve logged in, you can see all your current and past chats by clicking on the ‘My chats’ button on the left hand menu.

This will display a list of all past and present chats. By clicking on any chat you will be able to view the chat history, or view the chat in real time if it’s still ongoing.

How to turn Chatzio on & off

If you want to disable Chatzio, you can simply click the ‘Turn Chatzio Off’ button on the top menu. This will disable Chatzio on your website until you click ‘Turn On Chatzio’.

How to add more data to Chatzio

If you have additional information that you want Chatzio to be able to discuss with your customers, but this information is not available on your website, then you can add additional data within your Chatzio Dashboard.
This can be very useful for many cases, such as seasonal promotions or other data that you don’t want to display on your website, but you still need Chatzio to have the answers to.

How to Monitor Chats

First, login to your Chatzio Dashboard with the same email and password that you used to sign up: https://chat.chatzio.com/
Now click on the ‘Training’ tab on the left hand menu.

From here, you can enter in any additional information that Chatzio should know about and then click save.

You can also enable and disable the information, so that Chatzio will either know about it or not. This is useful if you have a winter promotion that you don’t want Chatzio to know about in other months. You can simply disable it for those months and then re-enable it at a later stage when it’s needed.

In order to do this, simply click on the toggle button on each piece of information that you’ve added.

Any additional information you enter will instantly be added to Chatzio’s knowledge base about your website.

You're up to speed!

That’s it!

You’ve now installed Chatzio and know how to manage chats and add more data when needed.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask Chatzio on this website.

Now sit back, relax and let Chatzio take over!
